Thread regarding Raymond James Financial Inc. layoffs

The Culture and expectations at RJ have changed, it used to be that there were rarely layoffs even during tough time that everyone would tighten their belts, reduce costs/expenses but not people. There was a sense of loyalty and commitment to the company. Now, there is an expectation that people will be the first to go when times are tough. Ask for Training? You got to be kidding and foolish to ask. Community involvement? If you have time to do that then you are not working hard enough. Promotion? You mean reorg to fill in position for those who have left.
