Thread regarding Chesapeake Energy Corp. layoffs

Bottom line is that the new oilfield era that started around 1993 is a joke. companies think the need 3 times the amount of people to do a job today compared to 1 prior to 1993 during the old oilfield era. other oil and gar companies will be doing the same thing CHK is doing in the near future. if the oil and gas industry maintains the new oilfield ways, then there will be a lot of money thrown away.
