desperation is the key callout for all of these actions. The company is caught in a catch22 as the brick and mortar store location model is not sustainable in the long run. See these sort of firings happening more often in the future as the follett explores methods to dump physical locations. Do not know if this a rumor or not but I recently heard that senior management is in talks with ups or fedex to establish physical locations students can use to pick up or drop off items.
