Thread regarding Follett layoffs

570 Layoffs

Regarding the comment by poster 397, people have the right, and should take advantage of that right, to express their opinions when they've been treated so despicably by a company they've worked at for years. To arrive in the morning as usual and a few hours later be told (by someone you've never met before) you no longer have a job, or health insurance, is shocking. To watch this happen to many other fellow employees is appalling. To be told that the reason for all these sudden layoffs of experienced and knowledgeable staff is so Follett can hire new part-time people for an improvement in customer service is ludicrous. To realize that this company cares nothing about past loyalties, present feelings or the futures of its employees is disgusting.
