You realize that when a company treats its employees poorly, even as they fire them, the remaining employees are impacted. Morale sinks, their opinion of the company changes and quite frankly they wonder if they are next. Why should they trust management like the others did? With the industry as a whole sliding, new management who is cleaning house and offshore providers being contracted with, what should they be positive about? As noted on this site there have been layoffs all year long, just before the big store layoffs AP had some layoffs. Before that IT, and before that all home office departments. For the ones already let go we will bounce back with better opportunities (hopefully).
