Thread regarding Follett layoffs

@525 - sounds like an HR speak to me. Let the employees bond and grieve.

When you work for a company for a long time, and quite frankly do whatever it takes to get the job done including way more hours than anticipated, there is a relationship that is formed. Just as I used to be proud saying I like my job at Follett it is now completely different. Layoff do happen but they way you treated employees in April, October and November is disgusting. You created so much more animosity towards this company.

Follett HR gave a presentation a while back on change management and at the end of it, it covered the five stages of loss.

  • Shock or Disbelief

  • Denial

  • Anger

  • Bargaining

  • Depression

  • Acceptance and Hope
