Thread regarding Chesapeake Energy Corp. layoffs

When you can't take care of simple accounting issues with basic pay and comp, it's no surprise why people like myself and others left. My semi annual bonus were paid in accordance with my contract but the little things just seem to overwhelm the company and therefore dishearten employees. No worries though, found a new job last October in a building with a better view. From what I hear, CHK is still viewed as a sinking ship by people who are there and after the next bonus cycle expect more to leave. I think the company would be better off with a volunteer severance program, clear out those thinking of leaving and then move on, like those below mentioned. I'm not a participant in the lawsuit mentioned below but if the company's conduct is in question I hope it gets properly vetted by the court system and glad to see someone has the funding and intestional fortitude for the matter to be adjudicated.
