Thread regarding Follett layoffs

As a former Senior IT person with Follett, I can tell you it's very rough doing any IT projects within Follett. Requirements gathering is a half-assed process. The business gives partial requirements and asks how much money with a predefined deadline. So while IT estimates and starts building the features, the business is once again ch aging requirements. Follett says it wants to be agile, but they won't change their business processes or the way they manage projects. I'm sorry, there is plenty of blame to go Round. It's always rush to get something in, but never enough time to do it right the first time through. IT teams have never been adequately staffed and now resources being cut. And there are no plans to replace them either. So for my friends still left in IT and to everyone else, get out now, don't wait for a severance package.
