Thread regarding Sabre Holdings layoffs

I know that Travelocity got hit back in November - Not sure about other Sabre groups but Travelocity has been bleeding resources for some time now. I think 20 people got laid off in November 2013 and there are plans for additional layoffs in Spring of 2014. The whole industry is contracting, people are trying to squeeze more profits but the pie is not getting bigger and competitors are doing a fairly good job of kicking our but. Internally things can be streamlined quite a bit so you cannot judge about the layoffs too harshly - at the same time it's horrible to go thru this in this economy, people have families to feed and being unemployed does not help.
