Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

To Anonymous2858 . . .

I am starting to doubt the credibility and integrity of some of these posts especially yours. I believe some posts are written by people who are clueless about UoP’s processes or are simply posting baseless nonsense to discrete legitimate segments of the school. For example, I don’t know how someone without a high school diploma could or would be accepted into UoP since listing an accredited high school diploma is a requirement on the admission’s application. In addition, at the end of a student’s program, proof of an accredited high school diploma is required to be officially and legally awarded a degree during the conferring process. This is the reason lacking a high school diploma is instantly flagged by a computer program the second an application is submitted. A student is then required to provide proof of their high school diploma by supplying a copy of the diploma itself or their high school transcripts. Campus directors are not a part of the enrollment/admission’s process so a campus director could not waive any admissibility requirement. That can only be done by Phoenix and I’m sure Phoenix is well aware that admitting students without a high school diploma would jeopardize the school’s accreditation which would cause the school to lose access to federal financial aid. UoP execs and managers are far too greedy to be that stupid. Finally, if anyone had knowledge of students being admitted to the school without meeting basic admission’s requirements, reporting these infractions to your campus director would not be the correct route since, as stated before, the director is not part of that process. A knowledgeable UoP employee would report these infractions to academics and admissions. Listen, if you’re going to attack UoP, then be truthful and accurate. There are many areas where I believe (and in some cases it has been proven) UoP execs and managers have acted and are acting unethically. They should not only be called to carpet but prosecuted by the highest courts and federal agencies in the land. There is too much legitimate misconduct that can be criticized that there is no need for posting groundless BS and lies that are easily refuted.
