Corp intel couldn't be so bad that this announcement took them by surprise, could it. I mean if I paid a ton of $ to pick up the ND logo, I'd have regular meetings with the AD to learn about changes that will affect my investment. Was this not done? Is the GM buyer in the same boat as the buyer at SportsAuthority or Dicks? What does that say about Follett's business practices? What does it say about its relationships with the universities that host their bookstores?
Of course, a part time inventory transfer clerk could figure out what I just wrote. Too bad Follett doesn't trust real employees more and the fat cats less. The front line employees didn't get them into this bind, did they?
