I also heard that IT will not be affected - it's stupid what the leadership did - why did they announce the cuts? To stop the stock price slide? Now everyone working for Weatherford heard that we'll be downsizing and everyone will be anxious now. Think about the productivity lost by doing this. It's a plain irrational move IMHO.
