Thread regarding Sabre Holdings layoffs

They have recently spent millions on a useless and pointless marketing campaign called Sabre-On. At the same time, new executive leadership is laying off hundreds of people every month. So Sabre-On, should really be called Sabre-Off...as in layOFF! The event on Jan. 8 will be the third such layoff since October 2013. They are trying to push that we are a technology company and NOT a travel company, yet the technology we use is like 30 years old. Get a grip people, we ARE a travel company. The few people left behind after these layoffs will be walking out. Almost everyone is looking for employment elsewhere. Why would you want to continue working in an environment where there is absolutely NO job security. Also, a big perk that the company always had going for it was it's very flexible work from home policy. Word is, that policy is going to change and everyone will be forced to be in their respective offices to increase collaboration. Not sure anyone realizes, but the people collaborating are all located in different states and countries. So good luck with that. Sabre-Off!
