Thread regarding Chesapeake Energy Corp. layoffs

With your stock underperforming I promise you more layoffs are coming. I've been around long enough I see this before. Uncle Carl and Archie will force via the Board of Directors to have another layoff to increase earnings per share. I encourage each of you to take mine and the other headhunters calls and leave on your own terms vs trying to find a position when 100's of you are leaving at the same time. I would leave CHK soon especially if you want to stay in OKC. However, even during the past layoff most of your competitors opened up their doors when they didn't have too and I also placed a bunch in Houston and Tulsa as well. All people I placed are still in their jobs and I don't get paid until they have been in their current positions for at least 2 years so I do want to place you somewhere stable and safe. I wish all of you the best and all of my clients understand the delay in bonuses for everyone except for management and are willing to work on your timelines. Most everyone I have placed has gotten at least a 15% increase in base salary and some such as the drilling, reservoir, and geo folks I've gotten 40% plus increases I salary, almost all I got a severance package in the contract as well. Also I promise I won't place you anywhere that the HR department will treat you disrespectfully at either.
