Just casually mention to management that you are pursuing an online degree in Business Management from any college.. but preferably University of Phoenix. That might get you off the list....

Maybe because engineering degrees are the best degrees?
Good One - ha ha. Yes I have mentioned this to my management, "how come a place that is so Degree happy and you must have the correct degree has nothing but managers with engineering degrees"?? This is usually met with the cold death stare, just saying, maybe once in awhile hire an actual manager instead of your buddy.....
