Oh, please. Where do you think CCi's initial growth came from? Florida. When CCi bought the Phillips Colleges schools (Orlando, Tampa, etc.) in the mid 1990s, which were failing because of mismanagement and corruption, the company was able to turn them around and build them into very profitable centers. Most of the online talent came from the Florida schools, too.
It's sad that Cci became corrupt, but the fact that the company is now closing Florida schools is a negative reflection on the company and has nothing to do with Florida.
