Must be a VP, hearing majority of engineer get 10% targets and that's why so many quitting, several other competitors got wind and offering higher guaranteed amounts plus a performance bonus on top. Basically the head hunters know what CHK is paying their engineers and trying to top it to get them to leave. I don't know any specific numbers but I heard engineers got slammed in performance reviews, jerked around on contracts, etc, so expecting more to leave. Could always be worse, work in land admin and pull down less than half of that. Cheers troll but your numbers are way off base and you don't really know anyone in engineering. Spend a few hours at the bars or talk to a couple that left is how you get real info. Many just bidding time and expect more to leave. Can't blame them as they are all worried about another layoff, most not hostile towards Doug, just realize they all have better future potential elsewhere. Best of luck, doing final interviews with competitors this weeks and two offers already in, both 15-20% higher salary, with gauranteed bonus, and performance bonus on top. Finally, both 401ks fully vest in 3 yrs or less. 15% matching such as joke when average employee only stays with CHK 1.2 yrs so really anyone matching 3% with a better vesting schedule is just as good.
