Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

Closest DOE to me let me know that there are some layoffs coming and he said more managers being fired and a few more campuses being closed.

He told me as though it wasn't me being fired but who knows in this crazy company! Does anyone know more about which departments will definitely be affected?

If you are in ops or management you should pray very long these next few days. The Senoir management team in PHX sure did pick an odd date to talk about results and projections. I guess that those who believe they are safe are the queens and kings of buffoonery.

Mostly middle managers across all departments. There are too many operations people and many of these people will be eliminated.

Layoffs=Greater Profits (and Higher Stock Price). The market loves to see layoffs at APOL. The problem is that APOL may be getting rid of the wrong people.
