It is because of this XP we are running primitive 32 bit store applications with serious performance issues. How many times did you have to wait for Soda, OMS, or other Follett applications to work?? We were also long overdue for network bandwidth upgrade at the stores. Now we might be able to write web app!ications. Other major retailers already have mobile checkouts, mobile wallet, etc. All of the above are lost opportunities for revenue.
