Thread regarding Chesapeake Energy Corp. layoffs

Management we have competitive comp packages....first issue with transparency right there. When you have competitors kicking in 6-22% of salary into 401k without you doing anything, matching contributions vesting after 1-2yrs, pensions for the big guys , and lower salaries you discredit yourself immediately. How about this you are trying to be a low cost operator and trying to see how hard you can squeeze employees before the majority leave...at least if you said that you would have had credibility , transparency, as honesty. OR if you would have just said management is on a different bonus system vs saying you were on the same people would have respected you more. You want people to stop leaving, I don't care what you pay them, tell them the truth and that's the best starting point of all.
