I still haven't sat down for a performance review with my manager and I'm still in the dark about my (alleged) raise. I'm supposed to think that they really don't know what my salary increase is going to be? This new wage is supposed to take effect Sunday. If I communicated with my superiors in the same manner they've communicated with me, I'd be fired.

STOP Bitching and get back to work! That is an option. A very good option for the rest of us.

Clear out your office, dude. There will be no raise. You are on the list of the next 800 to go in March. Sorry to hit you with the not so surprising news.
