Where do they come from? Leaked from the top of course. From managers and directors.

This has right info as well as junk. But what happened is still in employees minds. As someone commented here Mgrs and Directors are the main ones for the rumors and ofcourse would make their positions secured as they push some attrition.
What rumours materialized?? First round of lay offs in December that was first a rumour. Second round in January again started as a rumour weeks before! What more do you need to know?
What are you referring to? What kind of rumors materialized? We have a ton of junk on this site, people firing statements or predictions randomly - most of them never materialize.
