almost everyone of the Fortune 500's are as crooked as the next.
I am guessing most of the information you have is based on heresay and conjecture.
Anonymous 5911, I appreciate your perspective. And I feel sorry for workers and alumni who have been adversely affected by this increasing and not incessant drive for profit. Unless workers and students stand up, the situation is likely to continue on its downward path.
camden kid (dahn shaulis) hits all for-profits on this site, posts on uop which i also follow, i think he had some posts for devry, etc... the man has a mission - i respect that, he's fighting something that nobody wants to touch - there are so many things that are broken in the system and nobody talks about it - he's a bit of don quixote but i am ok with that, no secret agenda and very transparent - he's the only one that puts his real name here and talks about things openly. he has a twitter account that i sometimes read, multiple social justice topics, but mostly attacks on for-profits. i've been in the industry for way too long and i remember days when we did an outstanding job for our students, the concept made sense and we were adding value, however over last few years executive greed took over and all investment companies started pushing for more profits and we forgot why are we around - to serve students. we started to serve bankers and executives and the whole concept fell apart.
