I know a little about this case. This person was not scheduled to be laid off she was added at the last minute for reasons other than what was publicly stated. She was or became aware of it. It's a unique situation and from what I hear was handled poorly. I don't believe legal was consulted.

Does this case have anything to do with last years layoff?

If Follett settled out of court you won't be able to look anything up, that would be part of the settlement silence. I'm not sure and it may be incorrect but it was rumored.

I looked up the causes of action code and found ( 29:0201do - denial of overtime pay ) and ( 29:0201fl - fair labor standards act ) I'm trying to find more detail on the case. If anyone has any more information please post.
