Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Dear Mr. Kent Jenkins, Whitewashing CCi's Wikipedia Won't Help

Dear Mr. Jenkins, did you contact your Enron lawyer before you started your dirty tricks campaign? I see the Wikipedia article for Corinthian Colleges has been extensively whitewashed by an anonymous source. Removing the documented information about CCi's wrongdoings will not help. Nor will intimidating newspaper writers. FYI: If you attempt to undermine thelayoff.com (which you and your cronies may already be doing), that also won't help your case.

Wikipedia is universally considered the best and quickest way to find information about darn near anything. And for the most part it is reliable.

@Anonymous8095 at al. I recognize that Wikipedia is not a great source of scholarly information, but it's where lots of people go to find out about organizations. also, some people are more vulnerable to misinformation than others. That's why it's probably CCi (or a CCi contractor)who whitewashed the Wikipedia article. @8100 I'm not sure what you mean by one-sided propaganda. If you provided your real name and your position at CCi, perhaps I could understand more about what you are saying. @8100, I also understand who many of the posters are and to some degree why they post what they post. Some posters write anonymously because they fear retribution, while racist and sexist managers and their trolls don't have the courage to post their real names. I also know that management and their cronies monitors this site, because they have attempted to intimidate at least one of my outside contacts and several of my inside contacts.

It's hard to say. Dahn's one-sided propaganda is amusing, but it's dangerous at the same time. The comments posted by people who either are illiterate or are posing as illiterates amuse me. It's like a game trying to figure out if they are really idiots, or are intelligent people feigning idiocy. Then too there are the breathless (figuratively speaking) comments by people who seem to have just realized that CCi is in trouble and sinking fast. The prophets of doom make me chuckle, because they have been sounding the alarm for at least the past decade. All in all, there are so many amusing comments, it's hard to pick even one category.

I agree that Wikipedia is not a reliable information source as CCI is not a reliable education source

This is just one more silly site where we can post nonsense to see what kind of reaction we get. It's very entertaining, although the University of Phoenix threads are more entertaining.

Dahn, you're taking this website too seriously. Nobody takes these comments as legitimate information. Well, I'll step back and say that there are probably some very gullible people who don't know the difference, but those people probably think that wikipedia is a reliable source, too. Are you one of those people, Dahn? Do you think that wikipedia is a reliable source?
