Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Stupid is as stupid does.

One can't expect much from its students when more than half of the Executive Management team do not hold a masters degree and have limited experience in higher education. The salaries of some of these individuals is simply, dead weight. Clearly, they are not making an impact but are part of the problem.

Without a doubt, the company will continue to riff employees and hold out until the last minute to claim bankruptcy and open a new education company called Socle. Oh wait, they have.

I'd also like to comment on the call from yesterday blaming the poor quarter on the weather. Really? That is the worst excuse I have ever heard of. Let the investors see the books of all of the schools. I think they would be stunned to see how many are not turning a profit.

This is true, and look at the number of them who have bogus degrees such as FMU or UoP.

Imagine that. A bunch of business dipshits failed at running a school. Who could have predicted that?

(actually, they didn't fail. They succeeded spectacularly at destroying the school so they could cash in. I guess that's what we get for believing for a single second that those a-holes actually cared about students)
