This is where it began, but there was not another post until May 14, 2014. "Does anyone have any information on CCI's new rollout company called Socle Education? It appears that CCI thinks they've done such a bang up good job that they are selling their services to other schools. The Socle Education website uses CCI's corporate address in Santa Ana as their own and uses CCI (themselves) as their only case study. Wondering what is the purpose of this entity as far as CCI would be concerned?" Reply: "Socle is incorporated as a wholly owned and operated subsidiary of CCi. It started with Student Financial Services in 2009 or 2010, which was a CCi department in Tampa that took over behind-the-scenes financial aid processing from Global Financial. They changed their name in 2013 to distance themselves from CCi to facilitate hoodwinking… er, obtaining outside clients for their services. They are in the same location and have the same leadership/management team as they had before. Socle = CCi." http://www.thelayoff.com/corinthian-colleges/post/5757819332591616
May 14, 2014: "Socle Education
My question is, why would CCI aka Socle offer any default prevention services, when they, themselves, have the highest default rate in the country? Camden, is this legal? wouldn't that fall into the category of false advertisements? http://seekingalpha.com/article/2195133-corinthian-colleges-coco-ceo-jack-massimino-on-q3-2014-results-earnings-call-transcript"
