There is no way these cuts are just 10 weeks and that they plan on making it back up later. If you look at the deadlines for the bids and sales, these are permanent cut to normalize our pay dates to match most other companies and a way to further reduce the staff without having to pay unemployment. I wish everyone luck in deciding to stay or go, but don't hurt yourself or your family over these people because they obviously don't care about the people who make the company work as long as they get theirs before the end

You can work part time, get fired, and still get unemployment in my state. I think the timing is more about the end of Everest's term. Maybe they do not plan on having a fall term.
I think more importantly, it's the end of Everest's summer term. Maybe the deadline is because they aren't planning for a fall term.
