I hope each of you find peace and solace in your decision to stay or leave. I don't wish anyone ill will if they move on or stay. No one can blame you if you left considering we all have bills to pay and mouths to feed. Just take the time to really think about your next job and don't make any rash decisions. Money isn't everything and it was shown today that it could change in a blink of an eye. Keep your chin up and keep on trucking no matter what. As a wise old board hijacker once posted "If you keep living an eye for an eye life, pretty soon everyone ends up blind"

The company announced in July they were closing or selling. Why everyone seems to have ignored that elephant in the room is shocking to me. Even if you haven't been laid off yet, you will. CCI will cease to exist in 6 months (or as long as teach puts take.) you are crazy if you don't at least start planning your own futures. I do not advocate quitting unless you get another solid offer. It's possible you could be offered a severance. But on this day in 2015 your employment status will NOT be what it is today. Be realistic at least, everyone. At least when the next shoe drops, don't be so shocked.
A stable company would have no reason to trim the fat from everyone.... Think about that it you haven't left yet.
