24645, you'd be surprised, even faced with a financial crisis, how many people think they are going to rise from the ashes and either sell or rebrand. We all keep our jobs. Read the board. It's shocking how foolhardy people are being about their futures.
You should ask if you can join them.

And btw, that meeting was likely set up long before the 10% paycut announcement. Most recruiters are busy (good ones anyway) and can't just make meetings within 24 hours.
