Civil law violation: Failure to comply with government requests and disclosures:

Result: shut down a growing concern, punish 10,000 employees, and 72,000 students without forgiving student debt. (CCi)

Criminal law violation: Delete email messages, destroy hard drives and obstruct justice;

Result: Get out of jail free card, a full pension and a promotion. (IRS)

Political Election: Vote for Hope and Change;

Result: Priceless!!! (POTUS)

Get a grip. The feds have forgiven student debt in similar situations when schools closed and the students were unable to attain a degree or transfer their credits. Naturally private lenders aren't so generous.

So Anonymous13246 This is Obama's fault???? What kind of logic is that or did I misread your post? I hope I did this is situation created by CCi that is who is punishing employees and students. Not POTUS

Comply with government request and play by the rules. if CCI did this, there would be no problems. The ED did the right thing, albeit it about 4 years late. It Is best to cut the students losses now. Students are being SAVED, not punished. They will have the chance to find a school that does not rip them off and can deliver, things CCI never did. In one of the VERY few times in history, government intervention into the market is working well. A corrupt and evil business is going under and I couldn't be happier about it.
