Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

What percentage of total expenses is labor? 21 days is simply not enough.

So let's say that every CCi employee works for free for the 21 day period, what about all the suppliers? Will they be working for 21 days for free too? If not, then the employees are going to have to work for free longer. If the labor cost is 1/3 of total expenses, then employees will need to work for free for about 63 days while CCi attempts to cover its other expenses. The 21 days would only be enough to cover the waiting period for employees alone. Then there is still the problem that brought us here. Likely it would take a another 21 days of working for free just to clear up some of the stacks of bills. Why not round all this off to a full quarter. Work for free for 3 months and CCi can start going down again.
