You'll know if you get paid for tomorrow in about three weeks... You'll be lucky to be paid for the last two weeks this week. "Your raise is being able to keep your job." What they forgot to add was, "...if we like you. Otherwise we will send you out the door without paying you your earned vacation time."

"If an employer does have an established policy, practice, or agreement to provide paid vacation, then certain restrictions are placed on the employer as to how it fulfills its obligation to provide vacation pay. Under California law, earned vacation time is considered wages, and vacation time is earned, or vests, as labor is performed."
