Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

July paycheck?!

Our campus president keeps assuring us we will continue to get paid - that the 24 day hold (21 + original 3 days) will be "up" before our first paycheck of July (July 11th)! They must take us for idiots! Do the math - sanctions began on June 19th - count 24 calendar days and you enD on July 13th! Even IF we use 21 days that means sanctions expire on July 10th - the money for payroll MUST be in the account a full 24 hours prior to disbursements. .. simply put unless the DOE allows a release of more funds in between time we are all working for FREE!

From Ed.gov....."The Department notified Corinthian of heightened monitoring on June 12, which the company acknowledged today in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission"

Guess they didn't believe it either for a week... More exec incompetence , but good the clock was already ticking , I guess.

Our FA dpt noticed earlier in the week that tuition wasn't posting like normal, the thurs we learned why

If the DOE letter was June 12th why did no one hear about it until June 19th?
