Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

CSC Employees part of the sale?

Will we the current employees be part of the sale package?

What about the instructors at the campuses will they be sold with to the new owners.

In most acquisitions when the buyer is within the industry they observe existing operations for a shorter period of time than someone outside the industry. The bigger the buyer the longer the company takes to make major change. But it all depends of what the goal is or why they are buying that part of CCI. But like all of these posts it is just supposition since we do not know. Its all speculation. All will look at that chronic tardiness though.

It greatly depends on who the buyer is and where they are located. If they are a company outside higher ed then there would likely be some RIFS to accommodate the smaller side but a core number of employees to keep support operations going. If they are bought by an existing company in higher education than they will almost for sure use their infrastructure, which would mean they would not be included. Sorry 14473 that we won't know more until we know who and what they are buying.

I'd be more more worried if you made more than $55k...anywhere across CCI

I am not sure but I do know they look at performance. So if you are not doing well you may want to start looking

I hear they will auction us all off as well. Starting with the strongest and most able bodied.
