My check is not pending either...I don't believe its beyond this company to lie to its employees.
The other university I teach for had payroll post. Might not be posting grades this week.
This happened to some last pay period due to their bank institutions. Just wait it out for now.

Same thing happened to me last week,then showed up on Friday. Just waiting to see.
Maybe it's a warning sign: You might be the first to go.
