Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Back to Business

I am in admissions. I am expected to produce...that is how CCI paychecks are born. This expectation is for today and everyday until given directive to stop...If in the past you sat back idly and watched and listened to lies and deception your silence was agreement. I play by the rules but clearly, according to many, not everyone does. Everyone has a role in compliance and acting with integrity. If you witness wrong- report it. If you can't report it at the campus level, call the hotline. The number is on your HUB on the right hand side. If the hotline does not act on it, call the number to your state regulatory body. That was always the expectation of every single CCI employee. Moving forward we have to be in this together. And no, I am not a troll, I am just a frontline employee who got paid this morning, on time and in full. Since they satisfied their part of my employment contract, I will satisfy mine until something changes. Let's make it a great day!

That was one of the most idiotic posts I have read yet. You need to back off the meds and see reality for what it is. Call the HR hotline? You have got to be kidding me! This company is evil and it's going to implode those rose colored glasses your wearing will not protect you.

I was one who reported unethical behavior on the Campus President and guess what? I was the one forced out of my job, the CP got a slap on the hand! The hotline and HR is NOT there for you, the only serve to get rid of the whistle blowers! You are oblivious to reality....those who keep their mouth shut and go with the flow stay, those who stand or stood up for integrity go. So glad to be out of that hole and am happy that ship is sinking once and for all

15503 - That was really harsh. I agree that it seems that at this point even the most naïve admissions rep should be starting to comprehend the damage they've done to people's lives and finances. But who knows? Maybe the poster is some true Pollyanna type who has totally drank the Kool-Aid. "Filthy beast" seems a bit much.

You are a filthy beast of a person to happily keep enrolling students into high-cost schools that are shutting down. Do you REALLY think anyone will buy your POS campuses? For real. You deserve to be struck by lightning.

Amen. Most of these posters are cry babies and rumor starters. Not to mention lazy people who dont like to work and follow rules, so now that the company is folding they aren't doing there part whatsoever. I work hard follow the rules, just like you would in any job. Keep it up.

You had me until the "let's make it a great day!" revealed who you really are. It's true that not all employees have been unethical, even in admissions. What is incorrect about your post is the implication that CCi expected integrity and was responsive when unethical behavior was reported. They were responsive, alright. I've seen many people try to do the right thing and end up fired for it. It was attributed to other factors of course, but happened soon after they reported ethical issues.
