Faculty can do both. We can continue to help the students as best we can, while testifying about the fraud we saw and overheard going on in admissions and placement.
Sounds like something you'd say to stop the cattle from being riled, or the mob from grabbing pitchforks. Face it, we've been wronged and our students have been wronged. No need to be miserable about it, but we do have a duty to help the authorities hold the responsible parties accountable and assure that this doesn't happen again.
