Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Seriously folks....we need to do our best to dumb things down and make them interesting so they can pass and keep borrowing for more classes. It is our lifeblood. It isn't their fault they are so slow witted. It is our jobs to make them feel good about themselves and at least teach them some basic reading skills.

Time to change our attitudes! Let's all bring bananas for these trained monkeys tomorrow!

You really need to get out and stop taking money for non-teaching. You should be ashamed of yourself for making fun of the students behind their backs and taking their money. Have you no integrity. If any students are reading this, please know that most instructors do not think like this, and we sincerely want to help students succeed.

We do need to keep things professional. I just found this board today and wish someone would have shared some of this information sooner. There are students who need significant help, but our mission is to assist them to reach their goals. Let's keep this in focus.

Every now and then I get one decent student who can actually read and I like f'n with them by then giving the morons an A and the good one a D just for fun. Hell their loans pay my bills and they are foolish enough to go here. Hahahahaahahahahahaha.

Yeah none of these fools will ever win an Oscar. They are all full-retard!

I can beat that. Student hands in week 2 assignment, takes a 25% hit right off the bat, and gets 10 points of 60, and I could have even given her a lower one. She emails me and asks how is she going to pass getting 10 points? I wanted to reply "That is the first intelligent thing you have submitted all term".

This student had the depth of a parking lot puddle. Hopefully she will return to her village, who is desperately searching for their idiot......

Just like when I get an email today from a student that their other instructor is allowing them an extension for all late Week 1 through 9 work until the last day of the semester. Why won't I allow the same? Well dumbass because the Late Policy (that I don't agree with but have to comply with) states that yoh had until this past Sunday to do that. I even sent out reminders that this was approaching. Funny how the student had issues for nearly 3 months but can get everything completed in the last week - all of a sudden. I am standing firm on the Late Policy. Sorry Rip Van Winkle...shouldn't have slept all semester.
