A quick search shows some brand overlap. There are also campuses close to each other. Has anyone at Heald or Unitek been informed of closures or merging of operations? Please do share what you know so we can plan accordingly.

look at the courses offered by unitek, that is applicable coursework that has value in the workplace. if we were to offer a similar curriculum, we would have no problems attracting quality students. we forgot that our curriculum which worked in the 90s simply suck (would you let your kid enroll at heald), yet times changed. adapt or die, we chose death, as milking the government blinded everyone for a while. that game is over...

Deal has been in the works for months. My guess is an investment group with connections to Deshon and Nolan will ultimately be announced as the buyer.
unitek just received their financial aid approval last year. They are just like Heald back in the days. They have financial backing and investors.
I will not be surprise, if they buy heald and get rid of the other programs it offer.
The place looks small time. How can they buy a larger college unless someone else is kicking in $$

I don't know if I buy this. It should be the other way around. Heald will be bought by a bigger company or an investor group.
This place only has a few programs. Would they take over all of Heald's campuses and programs?
