If your campus is sold, you WILL be eliminated. NO buyer wants the hassle of dealing with CCI hangers on. EVERY potential buyer already has their people in place to do things THEIR way....no need for "transition." Barclays bought Lehman bros and immediately cleaned house. Why? Same reason ANY new buyer will do it at CCI: have to fumigate the house before it is livable again. For you hopeless fools praying to "stay", It isn't going to happen. They aren't buying your school because they like what you did...and they don't differentiate you from CCI managers, you were just as culpable as them. There is a whole world out there, let this one die, it is all dead anyway (cue angry CCI apologists in 3 2 1...)

"Compliant manner"? What the hell does that mean when teaching?
It is true that when under duress awareness is reduced.
"I'm here to serve our students in a compliant manner." I've got some Jimmy Jones fruit punch...
Even being student focused isn't helping them....They are getting railroaded paying a fortune and getting locked into lifetime debt. Why the F would you want to be a party to that? wake up.
Anonymous 13967, of course you work for Corinthian. "I will remain student-focused!" That's how the management brushes off questions about ethics. "Just stay focused on the student."
BS. I am not cci nor are they a person I'm here to serve our students in a compliant manner. It doesn't matter who owns us I will remain student focused!
Not true. The biggest risk is their campus and regional management structure might not fit into the current one. Support staff has great value. The biggest thing is that those remaining will have to adapt to the new culture. Keep the faith and don't assume the worst until you see it in writing or hear it from your management team.
I would be upset if I were Dan and other CCI salespeople....they will have a very hard time explaining how their sales tactics differed from the widely reported sales tactics of CCI to future employers. Not to mention the drop in salary from their overpaid CCI perch to the accurate market for their "skills". All of them will be looking at a 30-35k cut, minimum.
Some of us are continuing to do our jobs and teach those students wwilling to learn. We create our lesson plan, teach students and some do retain the information, and some slack off. We cam only do so much, but the company restricts us.
Come on if its over like you say. State your name. Stop posting anonymously. It doesn't matter anymore right? Chicken shit!
And of course competent career service people place at 70% or more. Always. They find ways to comply. Might take over 5 months to "produce documents," however.
But management all the way to the top said a Real Instructor can teach anyone that enrolls. If they cannot then they shouldn't be working here.
There are no incompetent students just incompetent instructors.
It really does make sense if you don't give a shit.
Disrespected faculty, you are 100% correct!
Good post. Keep it real for once
Sadly, we faculty had to somehow deal with 'students' that won't do any work, cannot read or write beyond kindergarten, and are just not prepared for college. Thank you for changing our roles as instructors to micromanaged babysitters of adults. Enrolling anyone off the street or that can breathe is not sufficient criteria to be a successful college student.
Your job is already gone, time to come to terms, it's over.
Two camps: 1. Save my job (I don't know anything about finance or accounting) and 2. This company has been on life support too long.
