Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

I keep reading Tuesday, July 8th...

Does that mean that we go in on Monday? Are people working today? Admissions and finance - doa's and dof's will be let go? Can someone please explain? Should I save some time and just file for unemployment now?

18171- That's at the student's choice. The student can stay in a program, even if the campus is designated as "teach-out."

I have read so much conflicting information. Jack makes it sound as if we will continue working. If they are refunding the money for those enrolled for the July 14th start, why would there be anymore enrolled? who would get the ax first? finance? and soccle takes over ? get rid of the less productive? or start with the schools and locations that are closing?

You"re just as confused as a lot of us. Not sure what to expect from day to day anyways. Emails that are received are not tat informative and barely any updates. I get more info by searching, but we have to apparently wait in the dark to find out anything.

CCi is open Monday, but cannot enroll until July 8. Likely the major axing will happen Monday, but I expect more to follow. $35M doesn't go far, and CCi has stated such.
