Are they notifying clients of what's going on or just leaving them in the dark? I'm betting its the latter. I wonder how they'll find out? CCi declares bankruptcy and sends everyone home and they get a letter from a lawyer? Do any of them rely on Socle for day-to-day financial aid processing?

Socle continues to manage CCi’s financial aid program, allowing it to maintain one of the lowest cohort default rates in the for-profit education industry. ------- Nope. Reputable for-profits have lower default rates.
Anonymous18801: Yes CampusVue is used for the FA because we did not write our own FA application but the client does not have to be on CampusVue. Grace was using another 3rd party vendor Populi. Same application as CCI minus Talisma since we do not do any outreach to the students. Tibco handles the data conversions and it is smooth as one can be more different data around. Hope that helps
If Socle worker is still here, I have some questions. How do you handle your clients (like Lake Sumter State College) in terms of technology? Do they all have to be CampusVue to come on board? Or do you stream their data in and out like GFS did with Saint Director? How's it been going with the on-boarding? Smooth?
Socle worker - thanks, that makes more sense. So three financial aid clients and A&M coming on board basically for default prevention outreach. And Dr Doo Doo is full of BS! I was wondering why there was such a large discrepancy between what people were saying, from no clients to a bunch. Socle hasn't been around long enough to have many.
Any reporter worth her salt would at least call the schools' financial aid offices to check if they are Socle clients. It's what's called a lead and reporters spend a lot of time online finding them.
Texas A&M did sign up for Student Outreach which contains the following. 1.) Default Prevention 2.)Tracking people down for Admissions, Financial Aid, etc
Grace has been a tier 9 client for Financial Aid since 6/2, LSSC on-boards this week and our other client for FA is BioHealth.
Any more questions?
Any reporter worth their salt wouldn't waste their time on this board. Too many trolls and lies to sort through.
So, in case there's a reporter on here who might want to get these client schools' reactions to the unfolding devastation, here's the list of supposed Socle client schools: Grace Divinity, Grayson College, North Central Texas College, East West University, New York Film Academy, Texas A&M, and Lake Sumter State College. All of these come from posts on this board that purport to be Socle employees.
Texas A&M has a friggin' PR department! Trust me, I'm an Aggie!
We got an e-mail confirming that we got them. SO yes, TEXAS A&M ALSO!
Hope the client colleges are all too small to have PR departments, cuz they'd be FREAKING OUT! Can you imagine? "Is it true that you gave CCi access to student data and let them handle your regulatory matters?" "Wait - we had no idea!!! We just had some sales guy show up and it sounded good, so we thought what the heck!"
18689 said Texas A&M.
Anonymous18698 I never said Texas A&M but there is one in Texas. Yes they are and yes they did. Any other questions?
Ummm we sure do... Just got the announcement 2 weeks ago when the ship started going under
SOCLE is bigger than ED!
Socle Worker: so how about an answer to the OP? Are the clients being informed of the company's difficulties and do any of them rely on Socle for operations or is it just default? Thanks.
I call BS. No way Socle has anything to do with Texas A&M.
Don't forget our largest Texas A&M
Sorry Anonymous18676 but we have plenty of clients and Lake County - Sumter County is on-boarding today. Grace Divinity has been live for over a mouth. Please take your negativity and assumptions elsewhere our I shall be forced to correct you again. In fact two new clients signed up, one in Alabama and the other in Texas.
Everything Dandy here... nothing to be worried about.
I looked up their website: http://socleeducation.com/ They only list CCi under case studies, so I'm thinking they never managed to get a real client. What is the weirdest is the services they offer. "Student Engagement Services"...what?!? SFS?
What clients?
