Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

A few words about turnover

There are lost of posts on here stating that well meaning people never lasted long at CCi. That got me thinking about turnover while I was there. When I left (last fall before the big layoffs started) we had been dealing with massive turnover for years, especially in management and regulation-sensitive positions. That's a lot of people who quit or were (usually) unjustly fired who knew where the bodies were buried. We all know HR was no help. I personally witnessed a case when an employee contacted HR about an abusive situation and was let go shortly after. What was turnover like at your campus or workplace? Assuming it was a big problem throughout the company, why didn't CCi try to treat its employees better?

CCi is still looking for people who can smile and dial properly.

Look at the executive teams background, FHP, sub-prime mortgage, etc. What would one expect, they came from predatory shady companies/cultures and are very good at creating management groups under them, that can keep the rest of the company staff clueless on what is really goingm on. The dispursed locations helps in doing that also. Make no mistake execs are white collar crooks who will do it again in another sector ripe for the picking. Still hope criminal investigation will follow but unlikely considering the politics involved. Hope the best for those who were legit and students, hurt by these pathetic vultures.

In the old days they did treat employees fairly. The new crew is all about squeezing profits until the s$%& hits the fan, and then they're outta here.
