Emails are being sent out about redeveloping some courses for 6 week format (at least for ECPO). Instructors, what are your thoughts on this?

But of course then they can teach these courses out sooner and close don't you get it?
Double the workload for any given class, but at half the credit load. Instead of 12 credits for 12 weeks, it's 6 credits for 6 weeks, but the 6 week classes were once 12 week classes.
That's double the workload for students. Same work as regular term. And since retention is what it is for 12 week terms, I think it's a brilliant idea!!!
They already have minis in my dept. Double the workload.
The 60% point comes sooner!
