We need help! We have no president and now no security. Yesterday there was a fight between 2 students and the only person to break it up was our passed President who was here helping. If he wasn't here, we would been in trouble.

Best CP ever. If you see him again, tell him the rep "he took a chance on" says hello.
Who is your Regional team? They should be there supporting in absence of a president.
OP should be use to it. Ghetto mess.
Call the police. Call the national guard. Call Massimino.
Bedford is in Chicago. Yeah, I heard it's ghetto.
Call in the Teamsters
Well he can break up my fight any time. ;)
He was the best.
Yes 37641, it was. He stopped by to say hello.
No security?
Was it Larry?
Anonymous37636 - if they put ME in charge of the Clery reporting, you can be sure there'll be instances of zombies! Evil robot attacks, in-class alien abductions, kangaroo incidents. Why the heck not? And it'll still probably be as realistic as the usual Clery disclosure.
I'm sure it will all be reported in the annual Clery disclosure. lol.
626, it rings true to me as well. (I'm 622) and just wanted to make sure. But, having seen situations myself, I don't doubt there is a problem. It saddens me that CCI is not compelled to help maintain a secure environment at the campus for both students and its employees. Shameful.
I have no doubt OP story is real. I've witnessed lots of violent incidents during my 4 years here. Thankfully no zombies, though. A word of advice - if your President passes, cut its head off before burying. I've had some classes that a zombie could probably blend right into. Scary!
Is IL in teach out?
That is a situation in which you might be able to get unemployment. I would first call your unemployment office and ask them. Then I would file a formal, complaint with HR. Next time I would call 911. In the meantime, get a different job. I was in a situation during a teach out (different for profit) and a student threw a chair. No,security left and It was me and 10 students. A security guard student stepped in. I was scared to death and felt fearful, after that. I should have quit, but didn't because I felt a duty to my students. If it happened now, that would be my last moment of work. It's not worth the fear and anxiety. If OP story is real.

Regarding the gun idea: http://www.cnn.com/2014/01/06/us/chicago-gun-ban/
What college? Which campus?
Move to a city that allows their law-abiding citizens to carry/conceal handguns.
Anonymous37612- Zombies are the best!
I thought this was normal behavior for Chicago?
You have bigger things to worry about than students fighting if your passed President is stepping in. Your school apparently has zombies.
