Over the years I have applied for positions that I was qualified for, only to be told I was passed over. I have had hiring mangers straight up tell me not to even interview. I never gave up, and pressed on. It got to the point that I could predict who was going to get the job, before I even applied. Well the good ole boys club is going down now! When all is said and done ill fall, but not nearly as far as those F@$ks that thought they were untouchable.

Yea I suppose you're right on the conform point. It's kinda nice seeing them suddenly be concerned, and sweating.
Your mistake was not being a good ol' boy, where the hell are they gonna put you if you don't conform?
I have seen this happen often. Several people I knew applied for positions (retail mgrs. applying for corp or .com or RSSM positions), had great interviews, then were shot down for some unexplained reason. Three times it was the RVP that overruled the hiring mgr and refused to release the manager to take the new position.
