Instructor's Prediction

I have no expertise in bankruptcies, teach-outs, or the like, all I can say is that I have taught for Everest for about 5 years, and based on the very little information I have received, this is my prediction for online. Alternative 1: that CCi either files for bankruptcy or there is a sale that drastically changes the makeup of the company between now and the October start (Oct 13th for ECPO, and we have no October term. Employees are laid off. Alternative 2: Online instructors are retained in a skeleton crew, primarily adjuncts since it's cheaper to pay them, and used to teach the all 6-week format classes from now until January. I just can't see the company lasting past January. Again, this is just my thoughts, I'm not an expert, only trying to come up with a logical and realistic prediction. I can't speak for other employees in admissions, FA, etc.

They haven't been completely eliminated. There are currently 105 adjuncts left.

Adjuncts have mostly been eliminated at ECPO. I was one. I have been told we were put on inactive. I've found a new job anyway. I wouldn't say yes to any classes. And teaching a 6 week course would not be an alternative, even if I didn't have work. Double the workload for students who don't do the workload in 12 weeks. Funny.
