To 608 n 634 I too am still working and check this site randomly. I am hoping I secured another job because lack of information from my campus has forced me to start finally making an exit plan a reality. Lying and intentional rumors is not cool. I do understand why you posted bogus account of lies to throw off trolls. Problem is that you hurt some good and decent people in the process. Now reading in newer posts students in florida received an automated call stating schools are closing. Bravo to the higher ups to contact students n not staff. So things are looking bleak n with all the stress of pay reduction n furlough it's really quite normal to lash out on this board at the trolls. Stop. Just write nothing unless u can put forth something true. Don't go away tho. I'm having employees lash out at each other due to the stress n this has made me uncomfortable thus I finally got my resume out n three interviews. Wishing you both a happy outcome n this is not some daily affirmation for me as the troll wrote. Good luck to you and Godspeed
608 lighten up. I've posted the truth here many times only to be beat up by others on here. I quit posting anything here a couple weeks ago when no one believed me on a true post. I came back today and posted that I didn't believe there was a meeting or call today only because I have been on all the other calls and I wasn't invited to any today. Then the ridicules started coming. I got pissed off again and figured if the trolls wanted news I'd give them something to talk about. I realized after I hit submit I shouldn't have done it. That's why I posted a retraction. I'm in same boat as you, I've worked for this company for over 13 years. It's very stressful everyday not knowing what may happen. I'm too young to retire and too old to start over. I've had both the mandatory 10% pay cut and the mandatory week off.
I find it disturbing that any of you would post a rumor about something so serious. The lively hood of the employees that work so hard, so hard that they are being asked to furlough, they are working from home, working overtime without compensation. Caring and teaching students that want a better life through the education Everest offers, making that investment....and you would post something to entertain yourself through the trolls. STOP IT! Here is what was told at the meeting. Wyotech has been sold, Heald sale should be finalized by October 10, Everest Online finalized by the end of October, Everest ground schools going to teach out. Socle will service Heald only.
