Responsibility for Genesis Loans

Maybe Arrin Langdon, the FBI guy would like to chime in here as well... So, if this is true, why are we (CCI) the only party responsible here? How about regulatory oversight and responsibility of the investment bankers and banks in general: "To cover tuition and fees, students were financially forced into the college’s “Genesis loans,” created in concert with investment banks and financial institutions." - the quote is from http://www.phillytrib.com/article_72f3e270-0e99-5571-ae5b-d318c02c9d76.html

OP, what's you point? CCi broke the law and it took regulators a while to catch on? 41507 is on target.

It's the stupidity defense. "But I got away with it for a while, so I thought it was okay. Me thinking place not so good like people's."

No one is suggesting that providing the Title IV funds was illegal. It's the Genesis loans that is the topic of discussion.

CCI did nothing illegal in providing Title IV funds and loans to students to get an education.

I was speeding down the road today. Blame the police for lack of oversight.
